Abstract: 

The impact of export promotion programs (EPPs) on firm export performance (FEP) has received little attention in the export literature. This paper attempts to investigate the direct and indirect impact of EPPs on FEP in a comprehensive model. The indirect effects of EPPs on FEP have been conceptualized through a set of firm-and management-related antecedents for empirical testing.The main question of this research is: How export promotion program influence of firms' performance.Data were collected from exporting firms in food context in Khorasan Razavi and result show that there is no relationship between promotion program and export performance directly and indirectly.

Abstract: 

The purpose behind this research work is to develop a GREEN performance metrics for wider firms. The metrics for wider firms is developed by using the nine independent and one dependent variable. The five independent variables include job position, recruitment, selection, training and development, performance assessment, rewards, team formation, organizational culture management and organizational learning management. The dependent variable is perceived performance. The instruments that are used for data collection include questionnaires and survey forms. The sample size is 200 out of which actual respondents are 150. The SPSS is used for analysis. Regression analysis, descriptive analysis and correlation are run to find the relation and impact of one variable over other and with perceived performance. Findings include the development of GREEN performance metrics for wider firms. The future studies may include the formation of green teams, employee motivation to be green, GHRM in services sector, GHRM and organizational culture management etc.

Abstract: 

Mutual funds and investment companies are very important institutions for investing in capital markets. Hence, measuring their performance with the aim of identifying efficient investment firms and providing a corrective remedy for inefficient firms is essential. The purpose of the present study is to propose a new approach to assessing the performance and classification of investment firms in terms of uncertainty. Considering the two-stage structure of investment firms, in this research, the approach of network data envelopment analysis (NDEA) is used to evaluate the performance of each stage and the entire investment company. Also, in order to take into account, the uncertainty of the data, the interval network data envelopment analysis (INDEA) model for a two-stage structure is presented. Using the data of 10 active investment companies in Tehran Stock Exchange, the proposed research approach has been implemented and all companies have been evaluated and classified. The results of INDEA model based on non-cooperative approach indicating on the efficacy and effectiveness of the proposed approach of research for performance measurement of investment firms under uncertain data.

Abstract: 

Performance analysis is a crucial requirement in the development of Science and Technology Parks. Having employed both qualitative and quantitative techniques, this mix-method developmental and applied study was undertaken to analyze the performance of knowledge-based firms in Science and Technology Parks based on the performance evaluation model. The model system used was designed based on a sound review of the theoretical background, documentary analysis and interviews with 17 experts in the field. To evaluate the model and the status quo, a fieldwork questionnaire was distributed among 260 experts and managers in Tehran Science and Technology Parks. The collected data were analyzed via Structural Equation Modeling. The results of the interviews revealed that the experts identified the system model as the best model for assessing the performance of knowledge-based companies; this template was developed in the form of inputs, processes and outputs along with related indicators which were further evaluated.At the stage of pathology, the identified variables were scrutinized among which Human Resource Management (HRM) was found to be less efficiently functioning compared to other variables. HRM comprises employment of qualified human resources and adequately maintaining and organizing them to facilitate cooperation, which were found to be far from adequacy. The findings offer some implications for effective management of Science and Technology Parks.

Abstract: 

Studies show that in the today global business environment, the pace of change and uncertainty and competition is growing up. In this environment, those competitors will have a better performance that work together on parts of their value chain. Cooperation between competing companies that so called co-opetition is one of the new business strategies for dealing with the environment uncertainty. This study sought to examine the impact of co-opetition strategy on innovation performance and market performance of companies by considering uncertainty in the market, the intensity of competition and network externalities as moderating variables. This is an applied study, using quantitative approach to test the developed hypotheses. The study population consists of Iranian companies operating in the information technology industry (IT). Data were collected from 180 companies. The hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. The results showed that co-opetition has significant positive impact on innovation performance and the performance of the market. Meanwhile, the intensity of competition and the uncertainty in market moderate the relationship between the co-opetition and innovation performance.

Abstract: 

Resource based view suggests that superior firm performance can derive from uniqueness of resources reconfiguration and integration of existing resources and/or from the ability to respond appropriately to the surrounding industrial environment. Based on this view, performance differs from one firm to another since successful organizations may have access to more strategic resources (physical, human, organizational) than their competitors. Such differences are likely to play an important role in business success in terms of profitability. One of The firm's resources is intellectual capital that incorporates innovation capital and customer capital. This study investigates relationship between innovation capital and customer capital with financial performance and their complementary interactions with firm performance within their existing technology. Data was collected from 1381- 1386 performance of manufacturing firms provided by Tehran Stock Exchange. Pearson correlation technique was utilized to analyze Research data that was collected from 52 manufacturing firms of which 26 were known as high technology and 26 of low technology firms. The result showed that: both variables (innovation and customer capital) significantly and positively related to financial performance. Moreover, the strength of the relationship between innovation capital and performance in the high technology firms did not indicate any significant difference to that of low technology firms.
